2023 pinot noir
Est’s flagship wine, our Pinot Noir is a classic expression of Willamette Valley Pinot and the unique terroir of Leland Vineyard. Fermented 33% whole cluster for 15 days with minimal cap management, the wine is then aged in neutral French barriques for 19 months.
Tasting Notes:
cherry, forest floor, and baking spices,
with just a touch of violets -
2023 swirl
This one is for the wine rebels: 2023 Est Swirl is a blend of the two grape varieties planted at Leland Vineyard, Pinot Noir and Sauvignon Blanc. 50% of wine is Pinot Noir rosé, 20% is red Pinot Noir, and 30% is skin fermented Sauvignon Blanc. It lies somewhere between a light red wine and a dark rose, and also dances between being both a red and white wine.
Tasting Notes:
lychee & strawberry lemonade -
sparkling pinot noir
A multi-vintage wine, this wine is a blend of 50% red wine from the 2021 harvest plus 50% is rosé from 2022. Juice from the 2022 vintage was frozen and added back at bottling, via method ancestral, to create the bubbles. The wine was left undisgorged and is a rare domestic sparkling red.
Tasting Notes:
flint, montmorency cherry, with a super juicy pallet makes this the perfect pizza wine.
boundary
pushing pinot
Willamette Valley Pinot Noir is renowned for its complexity and terroir-driven character, and we honor that history while simultaneously pushing the boundaries on what a Pinot Noir is “supposed” to be.
